UPDATE:  CAT OWNER WAS FOUND!
I took the cat to the vet on Monday and found out that the cat had a microchip in her.  Her owner picked her up Tuesday.  She actually came from the Heather Glen subdivision on the other side of Avery Road,  Thanks again for all of your help!

A CAT WAS FOUND AND LOOKING FOR HER OWNER:

I was wondering if you could help me spread this information in regards to a cat that I found.  It is a Tabby cat (raccoon like color) with white paws.  It has a pink collar with gemstones around it's neck.  It is totally declawed.  I found it crying in my backyard on 7/1/08.  My cell number is (614)404-2625.  I live at 5980 Baronscourt Way.

UPDATE:  His owner was found!  The owner was searching the neighborhoods all evening and finally called the police.  The police had the answer from the people who reported and everyone is safe, sound and thrilled!!

This is the dog that was found without a collar in the underpass by the Ballantrae park by a woman who was running.    It is a female Golden Retreiver/lab mix that is approximately 4 to 5 years old.  She is very friendly and is certainly someone's loyal pet.  The woman who found her called the Franklin County Department of Animal Care and Control.  Officer Burton picked the dog up and gave me this number to contact them (614) 462-4361.  The Shelter's hours are 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. weekdays and 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday & Sunday.  The Shelter is located at 1731 Alum Creek Drive, Columbus, Ohio.
